Gucci Is Restructuring Its Brand and Customer Engagement Teams

Gucci brand and customer engagement team is changing.

Led by executive vice president and chief brand and customer officer Susan Chokachi, Gucci, a brand owned by French luxury giant Kering, is reshuffling its brand and customer engagement team.


Benjamin Cercio has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Global Communications. He joins Gucci from Louis Vuitton in November 2022 as Director of Global Communications. In this new role, Cercio will be directly responsible for the Gucci Archive and Gucci Garden projects, strengthening the brand's connection with art and culture. He will also be in charge of the communications strategy for the brand's cafés and cocktail bars Gucci Osteria and Giardino 25.

During the just-concluded Pitti Uomo, the men's wear show in Florence, Gucci held a new exhibition, Gucci Visions, in the Gucci Garden, paying tribute to the 102-year history of the brand.


Additionally, Cedric Murac will join the company on June 26 as senior vice president of global brand image and content studios, working closely with teams in the art buying and photography studios, narrative and editorial content, and corporate identity departments. He will report to Susan Chokachi.


Cedric Murac has over 20 years of experience in global creative image strategy, brand vision, concept development and creative execution. He previously served as Executive Vice President of Global Creative at Calvin Klein Company in New York. Before that, he worked for Estée Lauder Cos. Inc. and also worked in different creative agencies in New York and Paris.
