Former La Perla and Boucheron executive Elodie Bougenault will become Manolo Blahnik's chief commercial officer.
British luxury footwear brand Manolo Blahnik has appointed former La Perla and Boucheron executive Elodie Bougenault as chief commercial officer to strengthen its Asia-Pacific business.
Elodie Bougenault will succeed Andrew Wright, who has also served as president of the Americas market since 2019, and will "focus on achieving major growth plans in the Americas for a long time" in the future.
With over 20 years of experience in luxury fashion and fine jewelry, in her new role, Elodie Bougenault will be responsible for communicating and executing the brand's global commercial direction across wholesale, retail and digital channels, with a "strong voice" in new and existing markets. Manolo Blahnik said Bougenault was hired to "drive the strategic plan globally," with a particular focus on the Asian market, where the brand has great ambitions.
Previously, Elodie Bougenault specialized in brand building, omni-channel business development and 'retail excellence' at several luxury and fashion brands. She was previously EMEA Managing Director and Head of Global Retail at Italian luxury lingerie brand La Perla, where she restructured the company to return the EMEA market to profitability. Earlier, Bougenault was General Manager of Asia Pacific for fine jewelry brand Boucheron, leading retail, travel retail, wholesale and digital strategies in China and Asia Pacific.
In total, Bougenault has worked in the Asia-Pacific market for more than a decade, and has also worked for brands such as Kate Spade and Marc Jacobs. She worked at Louis Vuitton and LVMH before moving to Asia Pacific.
