Another source quoted by "Sky News" pointed out that Hunter's transaction valuation may be as high as 100 million pounds, far exceeding expectations.

The insider also added that if the negotiations between ABG and Hunter break down, Baozun, a Chinese e-commerce solution provider that owns Gap’s business in China, and two US brand management companies, Marquee Brands and WHP Global, will still be concerned about the situation and interested in this transaction.

Neither ABG nor Hunter declined to comment.

In January of this year, "Sky News" quoted insiders as saying that Hunter was looking for new investors and was working with AlixPartners, a New York consulting agency, to try to reach a deal.
